Event Speakers
US National Park Service Park Ranger Tim Boyd will be speaking after
lunch (Sat, 25 Oct) on the history of the Moores Creek Battleground and
the contributions of the DeVanes to that battle and to the community at
the time of the Revolution. He will be dressed in the clothes of the
time
and might just have a musket slung over his shoulder.
