The DeVane descendants who still live near the original land bought by our
immigrant ancestor, Thomas DeVane, invite all of our cousins -
near and far - to a reunion of the family in NC on

October 24th-26th, 2008.

Much like the reunion of 1998, the three days will hold a wealth of events.
Visit old cemeteries, family home sites, and churches on Friday, October 24th.

Join the Clan for the main event, a day of fellowship and information sharing on
Saturday, October 25th, at Moore's Creek National Battlefield
9 am - 4 pm.

A catered lunch will be served at noon, with homestyle Southern Fare fit for a DeVane. Luncheon cost is $15 per person, with children 6 and under free.
Special children's activities are planned.

Moore's Creek National Battlefield is about 20 miles northwest of Wilmington, NC - near Currie.

You are invited to attend church on Sunday, October 26th,
at Haw Bluff Baptist Church or Black River Presbyterian Church

Save the dates and help spread the word!

In the meantime, get out your records and old photos, clean up your
genealogy database, and think about sharing all you have collected
with others who will gladly share their treasures with you.
